Visiting Machu Picchu is the best experience for many travelers in Peru, however finding the perfect ticket is sometimes a bit of work for some, this is reflected in the fact that the visit to Machu Picchu can be accompanied by visits to the nearby mountains that provide an experience unparalleled views, which is why we will explain the difference of each one below.

  1. Llaqta MachupicchuIt is the most popular, this ticket allows you to choose between circuits 1,2,3, and 4 (you can check the circuits in this link). The entrance star between 6 am to 1 pm. This ticket allows you to do the regular tour, if you want to do the regular tour with the most iconic view and photos, this is the ticket that you need.
    A little tip: it is preferred to book in advance.
  1. Machupicchu Mountain + circuit 3: With this ticket, you will be able to stay in Machu Picchu for more time, you will visit the low part of the citadel for 2 hrs. (from 6 am to 8 am). After that, you will be able to start the trek to Machu Picchu Mountain, the walk is 3 hours if you are used to doing treks and a bit more if you don't, but it is an excellent experience as well. Also, apart from having a panoramic view, you can see Machupicchu from another angle.
  2. Huayna Picchu + circuit 4: With this ticket, you will be able to visit Huayna Picchu, also known as New Mountain or Young Mountain. Its circular shape base is surrounded by the Urubamba River, to the north of the citadel of Machu Picchu. It will be worth getting to this place because you will see the land of the Incas at its fullest, and the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. With this ticket, you will be able to stay in Machu Picchu for more time, you will visit the low part of the citadel for 2 hrs (from 6 am to 8 am), and after start your trekking to Huayna Picchu.
  3. Huchuy Picchu + circuit 4: With this ticket, you will be able to visit Huchuy Picchu mountain. This small summit is located next to the famous Huayna Picchu mountain. Its altitude reaches 2,497 meters above sea level, only about 50 meters higher than the archaeological site of Machupicchu. With this ticket, you will be able to stay in Machu Picchu for more time, you will visit the low part of the citadel for 2 hrs. (from 6 am to 8 am). Also, you can see Machupicchu from another angle.
  4. Ticket Machu Picchu + Inca Brige: This rare ticket bring you access to the Inca city of Machu Picchu and to the Inca Bridge of Machu Picchu. To reach this construction of wood and stone you must make a walk of only 30 minutes approximately.
