Explore and discover the secrets hidden in one of the wonders with the greatest mysteries in the world. Who really built this citadel?
The day on which you’ll see the ruins of Machu Picchu will start very early, before dawn. We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to take you to Ollantaytambo, where you’ll take the train to Aguas Calientes.
When you arrive at the town, a guide will be waiting for you to explain in detail everything you need to know about your trip the next day.
After riding the bus to Machu Picchu we will arrive at the entrance gate, where you will begin touring this one-of-a-kind place joined by our guide at the agreed time.
The visit to the ruins of Machu Picchu will be led by acertified guide and you will be able to admire the citadel and take pictures from different angles.
You will have the option of visiting the Mountain or Huayna Picchu (purchase one of its limited places during the initial reservation).
You will walk or take a bus back to Aguas Calientes. There, you will eat lunch and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where your ride back to Cusco waits for you.

• How long is the guiding in Machu Picchu?
– It lasts between 2 h 30 min. and 3 h.
• Do I get a local guide on the bus or train ride?
– Not during the ride. The guide is for your visit to the ruins of Machu Picchu and will be waiting for your arrival in Aguas Calientes.
• Do they accept credit cards in Aguas Calientes?
– Yes, although not all commercial establishments have this payment method, so we recommend you bring cash in soles or dollars.
• Do they serve snacks on the train?
– They do not serve snacks.
• The entrance price to Machu Picchu, train and bus tickets to Machu Picchu vary depending on the nationality and age of the passengers.
• The climb up Huayna Picchu is considered one of the best short walks in the world and you climb it up ancient steps and Inca trails with an excellent view of the valley and mountains.
The climb takes about 1 hour. Wayna Picchu is also known as the young mountain and it’s where the Temple of the Moon is located.
The Huayna Picchu mountain is located north of Machu Picchu.
• The Machu Picchu mountain is also known as the old mountain and is higher than the Huayna Picchu mountain. It is located south of Machu Picchu

The climb takes about 2 hours. The path has a lot of vegetation, wild orchids and flatter trails.
