This Taquile full day will begin with the pick-up at your hotel in Puno or at our base to then head to the port of Puno, where you will board our boat, accompanied by the guide, to the ancient artificial floating islands of the Uros that exist since pre-inca times. You will learn about the lifestyle of the community that chose to live on the lake and is dedicated to fishing, hunting and handicrafts. You will experience this ancestral town’s traditions and customs.

and flamingos, as well as the vizcacha, the guinea pig and even the Andean fox.
• The floating islands of Uros in Lake Titicaca are made of reeds and are approximately 80
islands. Their origin dates back to pre-Inca times.
• The Taquile island has remains of pre-Inca architecture that you will see on your tour, such
as the stone arch that is the entrance to the island, as well as unique natural viewpoints
